A handful of toad larvae, scooped from Willow Pond.



It struck us that this many tadpoles in this very shallow water must be tempting prey for something.


A damselfly rests on the goose fence.


Pond sliders.


Charlie and some ducklings swim in Ward's pond, under the smoke of Quebec's wildfires.


A satellite dish pokes out from the Boston Ivy engulfing this little brick house.

I would do horrible deeds to have that many toad-poles in our creek/ditch/whatever. I really love to have amphibians around, but all we have are a shit-ton of introduced geckos.
