Apple of Sodom is apparently one of the common names for this plant. Unfortunately it's also the common name for three other plants. It's "daddy long legs" all over again, Fab.

I saw that plant around a lot where I grew up and wondered if it was the wild version of the tomato. Glad I clicked your explanatory link. :)
