was driving on the Arbor Way today, and noticed a very large usual mushroom growing out of the oak? about 30 feet off the ground on the island whilst going towards Brookline. just "south" of the big rotary, near the "xmas light house". i can probably pin point it more than that on a map if you like.
at the time i thought it was a toothed mushroom with the drooping, but it might have been a pre-chicken mushroom. bah, traffic, no where to stop and look easily.
