Leverett Pond

One of the nice things about the parks in Brookline is the diverse kinds of people you are likely to see in them.



Leverett Pond is mostly frozen, but there is a thawed area at each end.


The frozen middle part.


The ice is thick enough for us to walk on.


The other thawed end is full of birds. This Great Blue seems a little put off by all the riff-raff.
