We went to the mountains this weekend and there were big wooly guys all over the place. So cute! Sad to see them in the road though. Richard was afraid he may have smooshed a few while we were driving.

My god, man.

These ones are supposed to be all black, but I've never seen one that big. It has bands of red skin inbetween the black bristles, but you can only see them if they go into a defensive curl.
