thank you for the answer :D I could imagine a situation where heat applied would make something toxic, but that doesn't seem like an evolutionarily sound tactic. ;) Seems more like something that would occur in chemistry, or something rather then botany :)
As for cooking things and making it unpalatable.. that happens most of the time I cook, so I feel ya there. ;)
