3:00 snapshot #1302: the head shaving saga

Here's Alexis with her freshly shaven head, and of course Reggie acting all crazy.



Alexis and two other women teamed up to raise money for Kids Cancer Buzz Off where they received pledges and then went and got their heads shaved.


Here's a pic of the back of the three ladies' heads, showing full thick hair.

The event took place at Gillette Stadium where our local professional football and soccer teams play.


Soon the team was hustled into position and the shaving was underway!


Alexis didn't have as much to shave, so her hair was falling fast.


I was aware that there was some commotion nearby and it took me a while to realize that one of the many bald people standing around was a famous football player.


Shave Shave Shave!


The volunteer staff did a good job of keeping up with the piles of hair--I wonder what use you could put all this hair to! Some people donated theirs, but most of it was swept up and (I assume) thrown away.










This man hadn't cut his hair in over seven years!


Beautiful bald ladies!


Say, it looks like I could use a trim, now that I compare it!


On the way out we took a wrong turn and ended up in another famous person's parking spot!

The team raised 3000 dollars for care for children with cancer! Nice job everyone!
