Return of the Hummingbird Clearwing

My favorite diurnal moth paid us a visit this past Saturday! They sure do love the butterfly bush.

Charlie's not sure what the fuss is. Actually I was holding still pretty well, except for my camera hand. This moth was not too concerned with us.

Your butterfly bush looks like a lantana, which is a terrible weed in tropical Australia.

Yes! You're so awesome because you post things that I see all the time but don't know what they're called. I saw a hummingbird clearwing feeding on our butterfly bush last week. I kept meaning to look up what it was...and there you go.
