3:00 snapshot #1440: Hallowe'en

This year I missed the zoo pumpkin carving contest because I was on an errand with my boss. When I got back from the errand I went and carved my pumpkin anyway because--c'mon it's Hallowe'en, I can't do it tomorrow!



Here's my Widget the Screech Owl pumpkin lit up! I used a pumpkin I got at Drumlin Farm at the last mushroom class.


This other pumpkin is one of the bug-ridden ones we grew here in the yard. I forgot to bring my sword when I dressed as Finn the Human at Kiki's Hallowe'en party, so I wanted to make sure it was put to good use.


That pumpkin looked even better lit up.


We sat on our steps to wait out the trick-or-treaters. It's less traumatizing to the dogs then having 50 people knock on the door all night. Also we get to have the puppy greet all the horrible monsters that come to the house.


Like Alexis' daughter, who collapsed on Reed in a cuddle attack.
