I don't notice your pictures changing, since I have several lj friends who post a lot of pictures, all of varying sizes, but I did notice on my own posted pictures that about January 1, lj's default size changed to about 1.5x the size it used to be, and I have to remember to select "600" o nthe photo size in order to avoid that.
