Urban Nature in the Snow

As I post this, we are in the first major snowstorm of the 05-06 season in Boston, and across much of the northeast. Large clumps of flakes are falling in lazy helices out my window.

This is what it looked like, around 10 this morning as we walked the dogs. cottonmanifesto is a much better photographer than me, but saint that she is, she had to hurry on to help a elderly neighbor bring a feral cat to the shelter.
