World's End -- Massachusetts version

I've noticed that many places, usually coastal, have locations that they call "Land's End" or even "World's End." I've been lucky enough to visit some of these with my Dad. Yesterday we went to World's End in Hingham, Massachusetts.

A large part of World's End is a tidal saltmarsh. The tide was out, but visibly returning, when we arrived.

This Reservation is popular with birders. Beside these cormorants, we saw great egrets, tree swallows, American black ducks, a small hawk, and many woodpeckers. Birders come here for shorebirds and others.

The views are pretty great, too.

Charlie liked the relatively warm water. (Strictly an on-leash place.)

On our way out, that salt marsh was plenty full!
