Well no apparently not. I just know that my mother's ataxia was affected by which side she slept on. She was blind on her right side so she slept on that side until a physiotherapist suggested she move her bed and tv around so she would be more inclined to sleep on her left (she did tell her not to watch tv in bed) and she said it helped.

I have a tendency to sleep on my right side and I experience a bit of dizziness when I do exclusively. Left side sleeping is supposed to be better for digestion and lymphatic systems but that might just be internet hooey.
