urbpanI realized today that I HATE the word "prayer." I hate the idea that speaking to God by yourself is an acceptable alternative to, you know, ACTUALLY DOING something. Working for change, trying not to be such an asshole, write letters to your parents. ANYTHING but the quiet indulgence of your placebo effect babbling to the voices in your head. If it brings you some peace, tremendous. Do as Jesus said and keep that shit to yourself (Matthew 6:6).
