If I had yesterday to live over again, I wouldn't drive three miles with the parking brake on. But we did get to walk around Fresh Pond, (the city of Cambridge's water supply) and they did fix our brakes while we waited (3 1/2 hours).

We got to see the nature of Cambridge, Boston's Ivy League neighbor across the Charles.

After the brakes were fixed, we continued with our original plan. The Mt. Misery Conservation Area in Lincoln, Mass.

Mt. Misery is described as "a modest hill covered with a dense pine forest," and is a favorite for dog owners in the Metro West area.

We think that rocks are solid, Professor Dawkins, because if you stub your toe on one, it feels solid.

I'm reminded of a story about a Buddhist student. "Master, how do I know that my existence is not simply an illusion?" In response, the master punched him in the nose.
