River balances
Mar. 29th, 2008 01:07 pmIt's a deceptively sunny and beautiful day out there. It's just above freezing with a steady wind blowing down the river. Occasionally some snow blows out of the sky into your face, too, just to remind you that it's still March. Walking around without gloves or a hat on is not recommended. Balancing rocks isn't a good idea either, but I couldn't resist a couple.

This cement seal (it's actually a fountain) demanded something balanced on its nose.
The red maples and the alder trees are flowering, but I'm starved to see some green.
