Running for something

I put my name into the ring at work. I nominated myself to be a candidate for VP of our chapter of AAZK. I talked my vet tech friend into being a candidate for secretary. All the other officers are running unopposed. I went to the voting/movie party, and there were only 6 other people there. (They were allowing absentee voting by email too). They decided to watch Iron Man, which I've seen twice, so I decided to go home instead.

I wonder if I'll win. I kind of doubt it.

Thought after watching "Graffiti Rock and Other Delights"

Isn't it overdue for African Americans to invent a new kind of music that totally changes the culture again?
