3:00 snapshot #675

This now seems like a "before" picture, because everything has since been covered with another foot of wet sticky snow. The "after" picuture will have to wait, because I didn't dare drive to work in this crap.

Before I forget, I borrowed "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" from my boss (to see the bug scene and try to identify them, mostly) and somehow between seeing the movie in the theater when it came out and now, it plummeted in quality. When I saw it as a kid, it was a an exciting if gruesome thrill ride, a worthy successor to "Raiders." The version I saw the other night was a pandering theme park ride, with fake-looking gore and a shrill unlikeable love interest, not to mention an annoying precocious child sidekick. My DVD must be broken.

Snow Day Photos

We stayed inside for a long while, but finally around 8:30 we went out to shovel. The first thing I noticed was our dying dogwood tree lost a couple branches. I think it's finished.
