Recently I got a check from my car insurance company, a full refund for the last online payment I had made. Today I called to see what was up. It turns out that (after being late with a previous payment) they had canceled my policy a while back. I made arrangements to leave work early and get it all taken care of. That last sentence seems so simple, and yet all day long I felt like throwing up. Money/bureaucracy/paperwork type issues cause me amazing amounts of anxiety. The whole thing could have been avoided if I'd been on top of things literally months ago, noticed a simple mistake and owned it and gotten on with life. Instead I spent hours today wishing I was dead (but knowing that I had to "man up" and deal with my own stupidity).

Immediately after getting it dealt with I felt so amazing. Now I feel even better, having finished a Blue Hill Comet Tail.
