Every time I think about moving to Austin or North Carolina, I feel like crying. I can't explain it--it's some deeply ingrained distrust of the south I have as a result of my upbringing. Overseas seems too difficult and Portland appears to be gone from our options (which also makes me want to cry. I'm very emotional today.) I think California's the place we oughtta be, but North or South, that is the question.
