This link takes you to a gallery of photos of a wild turkey that likes to hang around an office building. I'm very eager to get wild turkeys on my 365 list, but I've only seen them in the city once. But it could happen! We got the raccoon last night.

Maybe you can get a coyote. They caught one in Central Park in NYC the other day.

does brookline count as the city? my old work place (by the allandale farm) has a flock of wild turkeys that always hang out.

I'd love to see one. Apparently my neighbors have seen at least one. They are pretty secretive around here, so I'd have to be pretty lucky to get a picture--but I'll hold out hope!

More than half of my pictures are taken in Brookline, so I hope so! I still haven't gone over to Allendale--maybe I'll take a bike ride out there. The place where I saw them, Boston Nature Center, is the same kind of landscape, I think.

I think I read it in the paper, but Susan H-D was talking about it. They've seen coyotes using the D line as a way to get from place to place, avoiding the streets (what with the dogs and cars on the streets). Whenever I ride the D train, I like to stand in the front and look out the window, hoping to see one.

Ooooh, I thought you meant like someone on our block! I knew about the Susan H-D story.
