Yep! I use it mainly as my "Oh God, it's hot out here" icon. Which is doubly appropriate, as she's currently in Hell. Sort of.

Coquitlam, BC: All week, it's been over 90 degrees at my house, reaching a blistering 104 two days in a row, but today appears to be less insane. It's still in the 70s outside and very pleasant.

Brisbane,Australia. It's been hovering between 15 and 20 degrees Celcius, which is quite mild for this time of year. We've had a nice spot of rain too, which is nice. We're currently in the worst drought in a century, so even drizzle is appreciated. And it helps prevent the possums from coming in and trying to raid my kitchen.

Thirty minutes and a download from Weatherbug later, for this: High 84F, Low 71F. In other words, the weather from Staten Island, NY is fine. A little humid. I coulda told ya that!

San Francisco. Cool in the shade, hot in the sun, with a nice breeze. They say it's 67 degrees but it feels warmer in the sunny parts.

110 yesterday and the day before [and the day before that, 114].

It's miserable over here and I envy the people with decent weather [enjoy it while you can].

Oy.

tucson, arizona, a delightfully cool 97 in the shade at noon. (believe me, this is a huge improvement over last week.) partly cloudy. looks like we'll have a nice little monsoon this evening.

Urbpan and I have a cousin out there and I'm ashamed to say I don't know if he's still writing his column. Here's a link to his book.

Eastern Massachusetts. It's warm (low 80s at dinnertime), but the humidity is lower than it has been, and it's the first time in weeks that it has been good weeding weather at the same time as I have some time available.

Denton, TX: High 97, Low 75 (at 4 am)

This is abruptly cooled down from last week's high of 109, during a two-week stretch where the temp rose over 100* every day. And I have the joy of working outside all day! :D

I'm in beautiful Bellingham, WA, just thirty miles south of the Canadian border. It's only 74 today, thank god, but it was mid-90s over the weekend, which is quite hot for us. Still, I survived. On the fourth day of it, though, I went outside and laid down on the shady side of the house like a dog and passed out until 4:00 p.m. It took a lot out of me. I don't like heat.

And I'm just about to drive to Santa Fe. Fortunately, the extended weather forcasts are anticipating things dropping into the upper-90s/lower-100s, and there should be some scattered thunderstorms in there, which would make the heat more bearable (not because they'd cool things down, just because they're cool).

Westchester County, just north of NYC, is the same as Bergen County. Makes working late (or LJ'ing) in the air-conditioned office not so bad! ;)

I have friends in Campbell who say it's been extremely hot! When we were out there visiting last week, they blamed us for bringing with us hot eastern weather. But now that we have left, I doubt they can blame us anymore! :)

I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN and it's very hot and sticky. I was in a borderline-heatstroke state yesterday after being out running errands.
