Heh, yes, it does get its share of snow. Oddly enough, for the past two years, the winters in St. Louis have been incredibly mild-- only about seven inches of snow total, which fell only one or two times in the winter. I've been in St. Louis for just two years, though, so I don't know what its winters are like on the average.
I don't blame you for wanting to get away from all that snow, especially the New England kind. Hope you guys find a nice, snow-free, nature-friendly place! Good luck. :)
