That was fun. At first it felt like a bird's eye view sort of like you were flying in slo-mo.

Cool hawk. I sometimes see peregrin falcons around these here parts. We have golden eagles too but they're very rare.

Thanks to the snapshot project, I always have my camera. I noticed the thing when I was cleaning the turtles--nothing like a bird of prey OUTSIDE of the raptor aviary to get your attention!

Glad you enjoyed it. I grew up in the Connecticut River Valley, where most people have the same accent as a news anchor.

I guess this is the first time I've posted anything with my voice on it! I didn't really think about it; I figured at some point I'd do a voice post, but I guess it makes sense that I'm narrating a nature video. :)

Cooper's hawks are our most common hawk visitor at my work. They prey on other birds, so they are attracted by our chickens, ducks, and birdfeeder birds, but this was the first time I've seen one next to our hawk cages.
