Very rarely do we put coats on the dogs. Generally it has to be snowing or sleeting. That first picture is actually the last chronologically, so Maggie was finally showing signs of discomfort after we had been out there about 40 minutes. She's pretty cold tolerant. Suffice it to say, both dogs were happy to get back in the car!
