Disgusting substance of the day: Dead rabbit intestinal contents. We had our Urban Nature Walk in Arnold Arboretum, and found a very dead cottontail. [livejournal.com profile] rockbalancer yelled with delight to discover the carrion beetles canoodling in the carcass.


On this day in 365 urban species: Double-crested cormorant.
