My friend Carrie keeps me up to date on all the latest monkey news. This story includes the gem "Dressed in a Kevlar vest, video camera and two-way radio, the small monkey would be able to get into places no officer or robot could go."

If he was smart enought to operate that equipment, he'd be smart enough to keep right on going. He could set up shop on his own, and make more than bananas.

useless Kevlar

I hate to throw cold water on an otherwise seamless plan (what could possibly go wrong?) but a kevlar vest for a monkey would be too heavy in proportion to the little beasty, and besides, the impact of a bullet would destroy the poor thing's flesh and bones through the kevlar. Possibly it might provide some protection against hydrostatic shock, but that's of little use to a monkey with splintered ribs and burst internal organs.

By the way, somewhere I have a picture of a rat with lots of camera and mind control equipment on him. Where are the tiny, useless kevlar vests for the rodents?
