I have this urge to get one, spray-paint it pink, and plant it on my front lawn. Since I live in Leominster, original home of the pink plastic lawn flamingo.
Last time I went to Longwood Gardens, they had signs out that mentioned that they had working dogs to help keep the Canada geese from settling in the ponds, and they also had cats to help keep rodent pests down. It was pretty nifty -- saw a couple cats. Of course, I still remember one night, after the fountain show, wandering car-ward and having to do an abrupt wide berth around a skunk that had come out to forage. The crowd that was pouring through the area was moving in a really amusing way to get away from said skunk, who ignored everyone and kept on waddling along.
