Woodchuck and Chicken enrichment.

Several holes are drilled in a log. Favored items from the woodchuck's diet (broccoli, apple, and yam pieces) are wedged into the holes and the log is presented to the woodchuck.

Newspaper is shredded in a large pile in the chicken cage, stimulating the chicken's natural foraging behavior (scratching). Some food items can be scattered in the shredded newspaper. The chicken continues to scratch in the shredded newspaper even when its diet is presented.
