I had yellow sac spiders (http://www.localpestcontrolservices.com/pest_control_blog/pests/spider_the_yellow_sac_spider/) invade my home last year. They are not fun to deal with. I've been using a pest control company ever since so that they don't come back. I was even lucky enough to find a company that uses non toxic, organic, pest control stuff on localpestcontrolservices.com.
