3:00 snapshot, #269

First spring brunch at Flann's. It was cold and drizzly out, but Alex, Alexis and I had a nice time.
I saw my first open daffodils on the way.

70 degrees out here in Ohio, but the daffodils aren't yet open. Had a lovely day dusting off the kayaks in a lake nearby. I hope our warm weather meanders your way!

Yes, we have 2 open daffodils in our yard (and some tiny purple flowers) as of yesterday! I forgot to cut one before coming back in and washing the mud off my sneakers. Andrew raked all the dead leaves off our little backyard and I pulled up as much as I could find of that horribly woody vine and then helped him fill 6 garbage bags... uh-oh... this reminds me that those bags are still in the backyard instead of out front for collection.

Daffodils are out EVERYWHERE here. and there are a ton of other flowering trees in bloom, and its almost gorgeous. Except that is been GRAY and WET and MISERABLE for the past week. Does not make for pretty pictures, no matter how pretty the flowers are. blah.

But that is a great portrait, btw. nice job!

The daffodils are finished up here now, and the cherry blossoms are at that stage when when they look past their best. But still, it snowed yesterday! The weather is weird here this year.

Lovely photo.
