Callahan State Park, Framingham

Alex, Alexis, the dogs and I went to Callahan State Park in Framingham today. Here Charlie and I are admiring the big white pines.




They aren't especially old trees, but they are tall.


We encountered random macrame.


and lots of skunk cabbage.


and a small stand of winged euonymus.


A long man-made berm leads into and out of the woods.

Wow what an impressive park! :) We went to a state park today and totally went off roading, the road was so terrible...but it was awesome, next to the beach and nestled between mountains...:)
