I think this string of ugly depressing snapshots from work says more about me than it does about my work. Another crap day with crap on top. I'm not worried, it'll all resolve itself eventually, but why does it have to be so unpleasant in the meanwhile? I swear some people are content to live miserable lives because they can't imagine anything else.

My emotional state is fragile at best. I just welled up at seeing a news story about George Takei getting married. But then, when Massachusetts legalized gay marriage I remember crying at all the pictures of happy couples. And I wasn't even hating work then.

Hey, I just saw a news report about pit bulls, it was about one of the pit bulls from the Michael Vick dogfighting case that has been given a new lease on life as a therapy dog. It was a really positive story about pit bulls. I think they get a bad rap too. I've met many really sweet pit bulls.

It was on channel 7 news this evening. I don't see it on their web site yet.

I'd love to know where to get one of those rubber flex-nozzles on your orange hose. I got one at Sears oh so long ago, and promptly ran over it with the longmolar. Of course the next week Sears tells me that was discontinued and I've never found one since... :(
