Some sort of animal skin that you've rubbed lotion on.
I am assuming the orientation is correct, otherwise I would have guess it was a cracked floor with milk or salt or sugar spilled in it.

Without looking at the other comments, I say it's the surface of ...either a puffball or an earthball. More likely an earthball.
