while it is hard to beat a mushroom of any type sauted in butter, you can also treat them as you would a good quality tofu, in soups or stirfrys.
that one looks good and big enough to toast like a slice of bread.
I'm thinking a mushroom equivalent of a grilled cheese sandwich.
one word of warning, from sad experience, make sure it is absolutley fresh, firm, and pure white on the interior meat. if it has turned even the slightest bit off color (even the palest touch of yellow) do not eat! they do not age well....
