I´m on the way--which is to say, I have to sleep in Santiago in this hellish (well, they give me dirty looks at the breakfast buffet for wearing shorts)hotel one more night, take the train to the good zoo tomorrow, catch a plane in the evening, find out what horror they have planned for us in Miami (I´m betting on a delay caused by the British Airways strike), and finally roll in to Boston between 32 and infinity hours from now.

Of course, I wouldn´t trade this trip for all the non-fried vegetarian food in the world (make a note--get me some non-fried vegetarian food when I get back to Boston). Even if my dad and I wisely lay around hungover tomorrow instead of our plan A to go to the zoo via metro and mystery train, we´ve had a very full week of once in a lifetime experiences and feral dogs.

If I dedicate every non-zine, non-work, non-quality time with the wife and dogs, non-eating time to uploading and resizing my pictures, I should be ready to regale you them sometime before Halloween (I kid you--let´s call it next weekend) about 10 per post per day, ending up sometime before the next presidential election. After which, I can hopefully travel internationally without someone referring to "Georgebush" with a look in their eye like my zipper is down.

Hope to hear from you soon,
-Jef

Travel safely! Personally I think they should hand out BUSH SUCKS t-shirts at every international terminal, but that's just me.

Or just a picture (the one in your icon is good) with 'sorry' written all over the shirt in at least 30 languages.

If you get to check your email before taking off (maybe during your hungover chillout time?) - you should know that it's really fucking hot here. Like really. Right now (8:30am) it's 77 degrees and 88% humidity. Supposed to be a high of 93. Tomorrow, more of the same.

Those are both great ideas. As it was I wore my "(Green Party Candidates) 2004" T-shirt here because I can´t wear it around American Democrats.

Hungover chillout time in use

Thanks! I inferred that from New York weather on CNN. I´ve never been to place less interested in the United States--apart from talk of "Georgebush" by our guide, and anti-Bush grafitti, there´s no mention of the U.S. It´s kind of refreshing, really, but I have no idea what the news is, if any, back home. Even CNN has had no news stories about the U.S.

There's no real news going on 'cept for the usual bullshit.

I got your message and it made me deliriously happy. **beams**
