Here is an amazing page that allows you to see the comparative sizes of different cell type. If that description interests you, you will love it. If that description is boring, it's still a pretty cool page.

Livejournal's own drhoz has created a list of animals who use the nastiest, most underhanded and exploitative methods of survival in all of nature. The man knows his stuff, and is a funny writer. It's like a Cracked.com article with more reliable science and fewer swear words and irrelevant photos of cleavage.
