
This is the view from my porch this afternoon. That little river should look familiar to you, even though the banks are no longer blanketed in white.

I suspect we're the only family in Brookline with a toilet on their porch. It's not connected to anything, it's just an extra chair on the porch.

I took this one mainly because it will probably be the last photo of my car, and the only photo I know of with both our cars together. Why do I care? I don't know, but I may be happy I took the photo some time in the future.

This is spring pond, a tiny natural spring pond that contributes to babbling brook, which becomes the Muddy River further downstream.

A few fall mushrooms persist in the restored banks of the babbling brook. The mulch is part of an effort to control erosion and invasive plants.

The boardwalk (not really a bridge) at Ward's pond is heavily damaged from rot and vandalism.
