Tide pool life of Easter Island

Here's a blow-up of those guys.

You know those "slipper shells" you can often find (at least on New England beaches)? On Easter Island, they are black.

I found this float (lobster trap buoy?) loose and festooned with these animals, which I take to be goose barnacles (though I've never seen goose barnacles before, I'm just guessing).

I found some fish, too. I've no idea what they are.


This very colorful dead fish would be pretty easy to identify, if I knew anything about fish.
