I love that, "common blue violet". To me it's quite the foreign and rather majestic weed. The ground ivy is great too. I got so excited when the USDA site for Glechoma hederacea said that it was native to my state, but it turns out it's only for two tiny, rural counties.
I love to see it breaking through like that -- great pic!
