Hey, did you ever do anything on epazote? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dysphania_ambrosioides)
It grows in under street trees and in sidewalks cracks. I saw these Mexican guys picking some and I asked them about it. They crushed some and it smelled great. You can cook with it. You probably have it there. Once I saw some growing in Somerville.
