Alexis and I on either side of an Amanita mushroom in Cutler Park.
The cattails are encroaching on the boardwalk more than in previous visits.
A fair amount of mushrooms out there today, mostly Russulas.
Last time we were here we found a deer carcass. I think this is all that's left of it.
We let Maggie off-leash to hunt frogs, and she went further from shore than we've ever seen. A swan showed up and chased her back to land (sorry, no pictures--we were in a bit of a panic).
Meanwhile, Charlie surprised a family out for a paddle on the Charles.
Nice day for kayaking!

Date: 2010-06-22 03:42 am (UTC)I found an Amanita like that in Morrow Mountain State Park the day before yesterday... It was a pale one like yours. I'll post pictures of it soon.
