Exeter, part one



Later that day (I labeled all the photos with the next day's date, since I assumed it couldn't posibly be all on the same day!), we arrived in Exeter. Here I saw my first really really old stuff in England.














This almshouse ruin had these gothic windows with artifacts from the dig suspended in them.











As night fell, we crawled into a number of holes in the wall.

In the first shot I imagine Colonel Sanders peeking up and saying "hey guuuyyyy!" in the voice of Saddam Hussein in South Park.

yes the old stuff in England is REALLY old & England is so cultivated, the old stuff collides with the new in interesting ways (Kentucky Fried Chicken in England!!) Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous & they make me miss England very much. Have a spectacular trip..!
