Jersey Shore

A run down to town to meet up with an invasive plant expert was picturesque.

The tides are not as extreme as in Severn Estuary, but they are very extreme.

When my dad and I first arrived, the taxi driver who picked us up at the ferry depot pointed at that fort and said "you can walk to it at low tide!" We thought he was joking.

He wasn't.

Ahhh, I love big tides. They remind me of Broome, when on a large tide you can't see any water to the horizon, it's all mudflats.

Makes it a bit of a pain for swimming though, because you can only swim for a few hours in the day and the water is pretty shallow everywhere.

You have a gift of finding beauty in moments that most of us would only walk by and not even notice. You challenge us to open our eyes to the present moment in all its wonder.
