Purslane, in New Bedford Massachusetts.

An Ailanthus tree tries to grow in the shipyard.

Ship texture.

Building textures.

Down at Fort Taber Park I found some sunburst lichen.

Also I found some poison ivy full of leaf gall mites.

Some rocks needed to be stood up here.

Honestly, I'm tempted to print out that building textures photo and hang it on my wall. It's a really great composition.

I haven't seen it in Boston. I actually saw some Datura growing weedily in Antigua a ways back though: http://urbpan.livejournal.com/864384.html

More balanced stones for the win! And that gall mite on the poison ivy looks as uncomfortable for the poison ivy as a poison ivy rash is on a person. (I know plants can't feel itchy, but they can look itchy.)
