The finger's healing up nicely.

I spent much of the day preoccupied with our difficulty getting the house. Suffice it to say that the fact we don't have it yet is not our fault, and there is nothing we can do to hasten or change the outcome. We have so much we want to do, so much excitement built up around our new life, and yet are helpless to move it along.

I'm hosting a Zookeeper club Movie Night this Friday. The plan is for everyone to bring some DVDs and then we vote on which movie to watch. I am planning to bring Sita Sings the Blues as well as Thor at the Bus Stop and (if they arrive in time) Idiocracy and Howling III: The Marsupials. (wirrrn, I assume you approve.) I also have Inception from Netflix, which I figured would be the thing people would vote for. But I got an email from one of the people coming that he is bringing his wife and Team America World Police, and now I assume that will be what we watch. I will have to introduce the movie as a raunchy puppet show, and implore that anyone who may be offended by the many horrible things in the movie should leave now rather than go running to HR later.

However there is yet another winter storm predicted for this weekend, which could cancel the thing outright.

Wow, the finger's healing so fast! I didn't expect it to look so good so quickly. I also wasn't sure what the nail bed would be doing. Thanks for the follow-up- I know it was a weird request but if anyone would oblige, I figured you would :)

SITA SINGS THE BLUES is awesome. HOWLING III is awesome in a different way. I reckon Zookeepers would get a real kick out of it :)
