i don't really see "offended" in the owl's eyes. what i see more is "cross-eyed." it's beak/mouth might be offended...

Great horned owls especially. Nobody looks annoyed or surprised or even stoned like a great horned owl! Although burrowing owls come close.

You should see my baby Winston. He's a great-horned and absolutely hates me. He makes a >:O face and flies at me with his talons out. That's when I get the hell out of his flight.
