Jesus! And? Is she okay? I say this as someone who became allergic to juniper, after years and years of gardening, then installing lighting around people's property. Pretty innocuous, juniper. Until I broke out from touching it.
But you know, it's a thing where you gradually get sensitized over time, so you can have no reaction, no reaction, no reaction and then one day: reaction.
But OTOH, I guess the fact that you don't have a reaction right now means at least you don't need to sweat it if you brush against it. But I wouldn't keep up the bare-handed weed removal.
(But in fact, what do I know? You might stay completely immune)
yikes. you know allergic reactions can develop anytime, and the likelihood increases with repeated exposures, right?
i'm not allergic to poison ivy either (afaik, never reacted, was documented falling asleep in a patch some years ago) but i don't go out of my way to encounter it, either.
