Vacation recap #3

Our next stop was Lincoln City, where our hotel room looked over the beach! We apparently just missed a wedding.



For a while there were a lot of people with dogs, then they all seemed to go away.


We went for a walk along the beach at dusk.


Suddenly, rockets started firing off from the cliffs above!


Exploding above our heads!


Not to be outdone, the people gathered at campfires on the beach began firing their own pyrotechnics!


It went on for hours. We walked among it for a while, then listened to it in our hotel room.


The next morning there were people scattered across the beach, picking up the remnants of the night's explosions.
