My brother said (on Facebook) of this motel room: "The last room we're staying in on our trip may be small, but at least it smells funny and has an ugly view."
But boy did we have a good time!

Jacksonville Oregon: my dad's first Raspberry Lambic. He liked it! "They sell it at Trader Joes, Dad, I'll buy you some."

Tofu curry with red and white rice, Sweet Basil, Eugene. A little pricey but very tasty, and look at that presentation!
Steelhead Brewery, Eugene. Five very nice beers and a cup of motor oil served as a prank. I like dark beers, but couldn't make my way through that one. I've consulted their website and don't remember any of the dark beer names listed there. I think it was a temporary offering, or perhaps a Candid-Camera style reality TV stunt. The Raging Rhino Red, on the other hand, was quite nice. I had another big glass of that.

Crepes with fresh raspberries, The Original Pancake House, Eugene. Probably the physically smallest yet most calorie-dense breakfast I had on the trip. DEElicious.
